This webinar tackles about sexual harassment. This webinar made me realize that anti-sexual harassment should be a campaign almost everyday. Because even though there's a lot of laws and awareness about this topic, it doesn't stop and it's frightening to live in the world when a crime is continuously happening. It hurts when some of accusations are not valid since there is no solid evidence shown. Also, the sexual harassment mostly occurred online where predators can fake and hide their identity. Moreover, I love how the speaker clarified that in sexual harassment, there is no exemption, whatever your gender is, law can protect you from sexual harassment. The speakers encourage victims to speak out anonymously if they want to disclose what happened while hiding their identity and the identity of the predator even though the predator's identity should be exposed. Sexual harassment falls in different forms. It could be visual, physical, gestural and verbal. Whatever form it is, sexual harassment is sexual harassment. Everyone does not deserve to be harassed because it will make us feel uncomfortable and will let predators use us for their sexual satisfaction.

 

             Being able to attend and participate in this webinar for free is such a big opportunity, however, since it’s live there are some connectivity issues I got troubled with. Due to this, I feel it was incomplete even though it was full of information. That’s why I asked for some clarifications and questions during the Q & A. On the other hand, this webinar contributed a lot of information to my prior knowledge. Whenever I sent the short evaluation provided, I felt fulfilled because I was able to remember and gain that knowledge for a short period of time. I can use this information to share it to anyone who’s been curious about sexual harassment and laws that supports anti-sexual harassment. Because of the certificate provided at the end of the webinar, I can use it for my job applications to be able to convince HR managers that I’m very well disciplined and will be able to create a safe place for my coworkers.
